Mission Statement:
Booker T. Washington High School and The High School for the Engineering Professions educates students for a successful future through high quality learning standards and a safe environment which promotes positive social skills and character development that will enhance student achievement. The administration, faculty and staff accepts the responsibility by collaborating with parents, community and businesses to develop graduates whose knowledge, attitudes and skills meet the demands of an ever-changing world which also empowers these students to rightfully take their place globally as productive and responsible citizens.

Booker T. Washington High School strives to cultivate an engaging academic community that supports students in becoming critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and globally minded citizens. Our school provides a rigorous curriculum and an abundance of learning opportunities to empower students to reach their full potential as scholars. We aim to foster an inclusive culture that values diversity, equity, and the pursuit of knowledge. By setting high expectations and providing a nurturing environment, we will enable our students to develop creativity, character, and leadership skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
